It was blowing snow the morning we packed into our car for a California road trip. We were headed south and could not wait to drive our way out of the cold. In less than three hours, we had left the snow way behind. Our thermometer read 70 degrees in southern Utah. The kids were ready to stretch their legs – and what could be more exciting than a stop at Dairy Queen?!?
