Earth’s Best: Tips For Getting Your Child to Pick Fruits & Vegetables (Giveaway Closed)

August 17, 2012 by Nicole 13 Comments

Do you have a hard time getting your child to eat fruits and vegetables? Fruits and veggies are a very important tool in the growth process. As parents, we are tasked with teaching our children good eating habits at a young age. Earth’s Best tells us that children are more likely to keep eating fruits and vegetables when they are older if parents start cultivating good habits early.

Easier said than done, right? Many parents may have a hard time getting their children to like fruits and vegetables. Setting a good example is a great way to get them interested. According to an article on the Earth’s Best website, “Getting Your Child to Pick Fruits & Vegetables“:

Be a good model by eating your fruits and vegetables. Parents who eat more fruits and vegetables often have kids who a) are less picky and b) consume more fruits and vegetables. Research shows that parents who eat more fruits and veggies are less likely to pressure their kids to eat them, which is key.

If you are struggling to get your child interested in whole fruits, Earth’s Best has an Earth’s Best Kidz Organic Apple Sauce Cup that can be a good alternative for an actual apple or piece of fruit. Earth’s Best Apple Sauce is made with 100% organic apples and comes in original and Cinnamon flavor.

Be sure to Like Earth’s Best on Facebook.

Earth’s Best Organic Kidz Apple Sauce is available for purchase at your local grocer and on Amazon:
