September 11, 2013 by Nicole 33 Comments

Mom Always Finds Out received Super Duper educational games for kids for review purposes. All opinions expressed are my own. The Sponsor is responsible for prize fulfillment.

super duper publications logoBack to school season changes up my family’s routine quite a bit. We spend at least an hour after school working on homework. My first grader really needs the extra reinforcement of skills he learns at school. But you know kids after a long day at school…the last thing they want to do is more school work. That’s why I try to make learning fun with educational games. Kids love to play games, so why not play and learn at the same time?

Super Duper Games and Activities Make Learning Fun!

Super Duper Publications team of expert Speech Pathologists have been creating Language Enhancing learning materials since 1986. The Super Duper website now offers hundreds of games and activities that target any specific skill that needs improvement. It is easy to find a product that can help you work on a skill set. Search topics including: Autism, Early Skills, Oral-Motor, Critical Thinking, Phonics and Math.

Magnetalk Super Duper Publications

All of my children (ages 2, 3, 6, and 9) have enjoyed playing with the MagneTalk Match-up Adventure Kit with Barrier. Kids love these colorful pictures and magnets.  There are fun adventure scenes like camping, picnic, outer space, ocean, and the grocery store. It really is impossible to walk past the board without wanting to play with the magnets. In fact, I have not put this game up since we opened it more than a week ago.

Super Duper MagneTalk Review

The best part is that the MagneTalk magnet board works on Language and Listening Skills…something we ALL can do better. This unique game lets two players at a time use a magnet board to learn to listen and follow directions. There is a teacher’s guide book included so I know exactly what to say and do with my kids. They don’t even realize that anytime we play with this, they are getting practice at all sorts of language and listening skills.

learning resources and games

The MagnetTalk game is designed for children Grades PreK to 5. I love that it comes with a handy carrying case so we can keep all the boards, magnets and other pieces together in one place. It’s high quality and I’m sure will last many years. I can recommend this game to you without any hesitation. You and the kids will love it.

My Toddler, Speech Therapy and Super Duper Word FLIPS

My children’s pediatrician recently suggested that my 2-year-old begin speech therapy because he can only say a handful of words like Mama and Daddy. I decided to try to work on his speech at home myself. I found an excellent product at Super Duper that is absolutely PERFECT for our needs. It teaches me the basic skills I need to work with him on different sounds and simple words. The Word FLIPS® For the Intelligible Production of Speech is for children with limited speech, unintelligible speech, and/or childhood apraxia.

WordFlips Speech Helps

This flip chart contains pictures and words that are divided into sections to help you practice sounds and words with kids of all ages and skill levels. Sections include: Bilabial, Alveolar, Velar, and Palatal sounds. I have started working with my son on the Bilabial sounds because these are typically the first sounds children learn to produce. The Word FLIPS have really helped teach ME to know how to help him with his special needs.

WordFlips Review

Although I am no expert on speech therapy, I do know that the Word FLIPS was designed by expert speech therapists. I have seen firsthand how they help my child practice speech skills. We are able to work on everything the pediatrician recommended. Word FLIPS are a lifesaver and a must have for any parent whose child has speech difficulties.
