Protect toys with Energizer batteries. No Leaks Guaranteed!

June 3, 2014 by Nicole 39 Comments

There are lots of things you need to keep on hand when you have children. Diapers, snacks, toys, books and…batteries. Gone are the days when an 8-pack of AA batteries can last our family a year or more. It’s really frustrating when I go to my battery storage drawer and see we are all out of batteries. And even worse is going to the battery drawer and coming up ONE BATTERY SHORT of the number I need.

I participated in a program on behalf of Energizer batteries and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own. Sponsor is responsible for giveaway prize fulfillment.

When you have a toddler whose Night Light toy runs out of batteries at bedtime, the last thing you want to do is run out to the store to buy batteries. Or spend an hour unscrewing every toy in the house looking for replacement batteries. I speak from experience. We have learned to buy batteries in bulk.

Have you ever opened up a toy to change the batteries and find crusty corroded batteries? Battery leakage can be a frustrating problem. Battery leaks can ruin beloved toys – not to mention video game controllers –  and that can be a real problem at my house.

You don’t have to worry about battery leaks when you use Energizer MAX batteries with PowerSeal technology. Parents can protect their child’s toys from leaky batteries by using Energizer MAX. They are No Leaks Guaranteed.

Energizer busts 4 common Myths about Battery Quality:

Myth #1: Batteries only leak after they are left in a device for too long.
More than half of consumers believe this is true.
False! In reality, batteries can leak at any time.

Myth #2: Batteries only leak after all the power is used up.
76 percent of consumers believe this is false.
False! Batteries can leak at any time, regardless of whether they still have power.

Myth #3: Storing batteries in the refrigerator or freezer helps prevent leakage.
71 percent of consumers believe this is false.
False! The way batteries are stored has no impact on their likelihood of leaking.

Myth #4: Some battery chemistries are more likely to leak than others.
More than half of consumers believe this is true.
True! Not all batteries were created equal. Energizer MAX alkaline batteries are sure to protect your devices from damaging leaks. Guaranteed.

I love that Energizer® MAX® AA and AAA alkaline batteries have a long shelf life. These batteries can hold power for up to 10 years in storage. What’s more, Energizer® MAX® protects devices from leakage of fully-used batteries for up to 2 years.

Thanks for the giveaway… DON’T mix old and new batteries, or mix different types or makes of batteries. This can cause leakage or rupture, resulting in personal injury or property damage.
