February 2014 Glossybox Review + March Spoilers & Promo Code #beauty

March 5, 2014 by Nicole 2 Comments

Note: All opinions in this blog post are my own. I purchased my Glossybox subscription. Mom Always Finds Out is a Glossybox affiliate, so this blog post may contain my affiliate links.

So I am apparently one of the last people on Earth to get my February GLOSSYBOX. I had been impatiently tracking it online only to have the tracking information quit updating on February 26. I was just starting to get worried my box was stuck in Indiana when it showed up on my doorstep..on March 4. Better late than never, right?  I had avoided any spoilers so I could be surprised when I opened it up.

February’s theme “The Month of Love” brought a fairly well-rounded box of beauty goodies. There is a little something for my hair, nails, and skin care including make-up. Four out of 5 products are full-sized this month! According to my calculations, this month’s box is valued at $96.58. Not bad considering I only paid $21.

Let’s have a Look-See at my box, shall we? I’ll start with the product I’m most excited to try:

anatomicals

Anatomicals Puffy the Eye Bag Slayer ($11). These have gotten great reviews and are supposed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

lauren b beauty

The colors of Los Angeles are the inspiration for Lauren B. Beauty nail polish ($18). This nail polish is the healthy alternative to a gel manicure. I’m loving the neutral pale pink color and it should complement most people’s skin tones.

pureology

Pureology Serious Colour Care Colour Fanatic ($3.58) is a hair treatment spray for color-treated hair. My hair is going to love getting the attention from this one. This little bottle is the only non-full size product for February’s Glossybox. But it’s still enough to last for at least several uses so I’m happy about it.

renu

Renu Lip and Eye Active Lift ($49) is a UK brand I am unfamiliar with so we’ll see how it goes. This cream is for Mature Skin and helps the appearance of your lip and eye areas. I don’t know what age qualifies skin as Mature Skin, but I could use a little help smoothing fine lines so I’ll try this out.

sumita

Sumita Beauty Kala Color Intense Pencil ($15). I’m bummed because I don’t wear black eyeliner. I wish I could pull it off, but I just can’t. So I’ll have to find a friend to take this eye pencil.

What do you think of February’s Glossybox? Have you tried any of the products?

March Glossybox Spoiler Alert!

The March box will contain a deluxe sized Black Rose Cream Mask valued at $26. Isn’t that awesome? Just one product can justify the cost of the whole box. We know there will be 4 more products in there, too…just waiting to find out what they are.

Glossy Box has always seemed like such a fun thing to get every month. 🙂 It looks like a quality product, so I may try it one day when I can justify the cost. 😉
