One of my favorite parts about Christmas is finding fun things to put into my kids’ Christmas stockings. Stocking stuffers can be some of the best surprises on Christmas morning. We wrap every little thing that goes into our stockings. This year, I’m wrapping up Extra sugar-free mint gum.
My kids love gum. Their friends love gum. I love gum. Doesn’t everyone love gum? So I figured why not give everyone a little gift full of something they love. But I wanted to find a simple, yet creative way to give out gum as gifts. I decided to make Extra Gum layered presents. They’ll be perfect for stocking stuffers, friends, neighbors and teachers.
I went to the store and shopped the checkout aisle (how convenient is that?!?!) for the 15-piece single packages of Extra Polar Ice, Spearmint and Peppermint gum. Each layered gum gift will include pack one of each flavor.
Then, I went home and got out my holiday gift wrapping paper, ribbon and double-sided tape. The first step to make a layered gum pack present is to wrap each pack of gum by itself. I used different wrapping paper for each pack of gum. Then, I used double-sided tape to keep the packs of gum in place when I stacked them on top of each other.
A simple ribbon tied around all three packs of gum and tied in a bow completes the gift!
Each gift cost me around $3 to make. An Extra Gum layered present is a fast and easy-to-make gift everyone can enjoy! I’m excited to hand out these little presents this year.
How will you #GiveExtraGum this holiday season? What are your favorite stocking stuffers?
