Glam Up Your Everyday Makeup Look with a Glampact

September 20, 2013 by Nicole 7 Comments

Mom Always Finds Out received Glampact makeup products for my review. All opinions expressed are my own.

glam-itLast week, my first grader refused to go into school one morning. I’m talking full on refusal that included crying, heels digging into the ground, arms wrapped around mommy’s legs and begging for me to let him stay home with me. I had no choice but to park my car and walk him into his classroom myself. Which would have been totally fine if I had taken time to brush my hair and put on at least a tiny bit of makeup before I left the house that morning.

The point of my story is: I walked my child into his school looking like I had just rolled out of bed five minutes ago. I was so embarrassed, especially since all the other moms I saw looked like they had already been to the gym AND the salon that morning.

The moral of my story is: I could have at least put on a pretty face had I been carrying a Glampact.

Glampact Skin Care Makeup Review

What is Glampact? Glampact is the first customizable, refillable, all-in-one beauty compact . Glampact was created by Jennifer Cheng, CEO and founder of international fashion and beauty company, Glam-It. It’s one of the hottest new products to hit the USA beauty market, and you can be among the first to snag one!

I love that Glampact doesn’t take up much room in my bag. I don’t have room to carry an arsenal of cosmetics in my purse. A Glampact is expandable and includes everything I need in a compact case. I can easily put on an everyday makeup look anytime, anywhere with this collection. The kit is also great for touch-ups throughout the day.

The Glampact Starter Kit contains:

  • Light Up Vanity Mirror
  • Light Switch and USB cable port for charging + USB cable
  • Anti-Aging and Moisturizing Superfection™ Pressed CC Powder, SPF 30 in Light and Medium
  • Double-sided Cosmetic Sponge
  • Anti-Aging Cheek Colors Trio: Blush, Bronzer, Highlighter
  • Anti-Aging Eye Colors
  • Moisturizing and Plumping Lip Colors
  • Tool Drawer: Lip Brush, Cheek Fan Brush, Eyebrow Brush, Dual-sided Eyeshadow/Eyeliner Brush

Even though the kit’s color options are limited at this time, I thought that the Light/Medium shades in the Glampact worked well for me. I think the eyes, lips, and cheek colors are fairly neutral and should work for most people. I like that the colors are blendable to make custom shades. Glampact will be adding more color options in the future – so we’ll be able to customize our beauty compact with any shades we want.

Funny story, but so embarrassing for you! I’ve been in that situation too where you definitely didn’t plan on getting out of the car!
What a nice product that will definitely come in handy!

I’m really surprised that there is a light up vanity mirror in such a small case. But the size of the GlamPact is what I like. I don’t want to carry a lot of things in my purse making it so heavy that I wish it was on wheels.

What a great kit, it seems to have everything a young woman needs.

What a handy kit, I would be the one daily without make up because I don’t usually wear any.

LOL about the other moms. There are quite a few ultra coiffed moms in designer tennis or workout gear at my first grader’s school. I’m usually on my way to the office, so I’m freshly showered and presentable, but I’m often wearing the bare minimum of makeup. I would love to have a compact like this so I could finish up on the go!
