Monthly Subscription Boxes for Kids: Little Passports Review

November 9, 2016 by Nicole

One of my kids’ favorite monthly subscription boxes is Little Passports. We are really excited to partner with Little Passports for a Little Passports review AND give you the chance to win a 6 month Little Passports subscription of your choice! Scroll on down for the giveaway details.

Little Passports has a variety of monthly boxes geared towards different ages and interests.

  • Early Explorers is for ages 3-5. This box explores a new world theme each month, like music, oceans, and dinosaurs.
  • World Edition is for ages 6-10. Discover a new country each month, with souvenirs and hands-on activities.
  • USA Edition is for ages 7-12. Learn about two new states each month, with activity-packed State Journals.
  • Science Expeditions is for ages 9+. Reveal the mysteries of the world through science experiments and activities

Little Passports Review - Kids Monthly Subscription Boxes - One of our favorites!

The First Month: Little Passports Review

The first month your child receives a Little Passports box is especially exciting. It’s the box that contains all the fun tools they will need to get started and use along with future boxes, too.

We chose a monthly subscription to the World Edition box for my 7-year-old son. The first box included cool stuff: a Little Passports signature blue suitcase; a passport; wall-sized world map; A welcome letter from new pen pals Sam & Sofia; Stickers, photo and activity sheet; plus, access to online games in the Boarding Zone.

Little Passports Review

The Little Passports monthly box was a surprise gift for my son, but he surprised me by already knowing exactly who Sam & Sofia were from seeing them on Little Passports commercials. He was really happy about to get a penpal letter from them! I had no idea he was already familiar with the Little Passports characters. I was glad that he was ready to start exploring different countries with Sam and Sofia.

One of his favorite things about getting a new box every month is to see what kind of souvenir he gets to keep. One month was a really awesome geode. To be honest, I can’t remember which country it came from, but that was a cool month. I’m sure my son remembers where it came from, I’ll have to ask him to remind me.

My son also loves to put new stickers in his passport to show which countries he has learned about. I usually have to help him with some of the learning activities, but it’s really fun to read and learn about a new country together. I think most kids ages 8 and up could do all of the activities on their own.

Are you looking for cool gift ideas for kids? Give the gift of adventure with a Little Passports subscription. Choose a 1-month, 6-month, or 12-month plan. Subscriptions start at $12. Right now, you can save on all gift subscriptions with promo code: GIVE15
