The only time I’m okay with the neighborhood kids ding dong ditching my house is if they leave treats on my doorstep. My kids love our holiday version of “ding dong ditching” the neighborhood. We make packages of holiday treats, leave one on a doorstep, ring the doorbell and run away as fast as we can before they answer the door.
You think it was fun to ding dong ditch as a kid? It’s still just as fun to do as an adult! We haven’t been caught yet.
Homemade cookies are always a welcome gift. My family can make endless varieties of holiday cookies with the Country Crock® Make It Yours™ cookie dough recipe. It’s a basic cookie recipe that lets you add your favorite cookie mix-ins.
This is the only cookie recipe you’ll ever need. It’s perfect for baking everything from classic chocolate chip cookies to the most creative cookie mix-in combination you can imagine.
My Make It Yours™ Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies turned out delicious. Now I’m trying something new: Dark Chocolate Cherry Cookies. I had a bar of dark chocolate just begging to be crushed into pieces, and dried cherries in the pantry. If you love chocolate-covered cherries, this cookie recipe is for you!
An easy and cute way to package cookies for holiday gift giving is to wrap them up like candy. All you need is plastic wrap and ribbon. Arrange cookies in a stack and roll them up in plastic wrap, leaving a couple inches of wrap on each end. Twist the ends of the wrap and tie them with a ribbon bow.
Now it’s your turn to Make It Yours™. What mix-ins will you put in the cookie dough? Get creative and share your cookie pics with Country Crock® #MakeItYours!
