How to Make Chocolate Dipped Ritz Crackers

December 7, 2016 by Nicole 7 Comments

Just when I thought Peanut butter and Ritz Cracker sandwiches couldn’t disappear any faster…I dipped them in chocolate and Wow! The results were amazing. I turned my back on a plate of Chocolate Dipped Ritz Crackers for a moment, and they were gone. My kids assured me they were really, really good.

And then they asked me to make more.

Ritz Crackers Chocolate Dipped

These chocolate-dipped Ritz Cracker treats aren’t just delicious, they are easy to make. It only takes a few minutes, plus a little bit of waiting time while the melted dipping chocolate cools and re-hardens.

Chocolate Dipped Ritz Crackers (4 Ways)

Ingredients:

  • Ritz Crackers
  • Milk Chocolate Candy Melts
  • Sprinkles
  • Peanut Butter
  • Marshmallow Creme

Directions:

1. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper and set aside.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt Milk Chocolate Candy Melts according to package directions. I suggest melting only 1-2 cups of candy melts at a time for best results.

3. Dip your Ritz Crackers according to the directions below.

For Plain Ritz Crackers Dipped in Chocolate: Use tongs to dip Ritz Cracker into the melted chocolate so that one half of the cracker is completely coated. Set the cracker on waxed paper and allow chocolate to set.

For Plain Ritz Crackers Dipped in Chocolate and Sprinkles: Use tongs to dip Ritz Cracker into the melted chocolate so that one half of the cracker is completely coated. Set the cracker on waxed paper and top with sprinkles immediately. Allow chocolate to set.

For Peanut Butter and Ritz Cracker Sandwiches Dipped in Chocolate: Spread about a teaspoon of Peanut Butter on a Ritz Cracker, then top with another Ritz Cracker to form a sandwich. Use tongs to dip Ritz Cracker sandwich into the melted chocolate so that the sandwich is completely coated. Set the cracker sandwich on waxed paper and allow chocolate to set.

For Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Creme Ritz Cracker Sandwiches Dipped in Chocolate: Spread about a teaspoon of Peanut Butter and a teaspoon of Marshmallow Creme on a Ritz Cracker, then top with another Ritz Cracker to form a sandwich. Use tongs to dip Ritz Cracker sandwich into the melted chocolate so that the sandwich is completely coated. Set the cracker sandwich on waxed paper and allow chocolate to set.

Ritz Cheese Plate

Another way my family likes to eat our Ritz Crackers is with cheese and fruit. It took me less than 5 minutes (I’m serious!) to whip up a festive holiday cheese plate using Ritz Crackers, cheese slices and fruit preserves. You can keep it classic with apples and Cheddar, or try something different like Goat Cheese and Blueberries. It’s totally up to you.

I love chocolate and I love Ritz. Yet I have never had the two together. I’m intrigued.

It does sound like a strange combination – but give it a try. My favorite is the peanut butter sandwich Ritz dipped in chocolate.

Ooooh snap, these must taste so good! Ritz actually came out with chocolate covered ones a long time ago, I haven’t seen them around for a while. But the buttery, salty biscuit and chocolate… Heaven!
