Decorate With Sound! My Christmas Playlist + Soundfreaq Sound Spot Speaker Review

December 3, 2013 by Nicole 14 Comments

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Soundfreaq. I received a Soundfreaq Sound Spot speaker to facilitate my review.

It’s the beginning of December and I’ve still got a lot of Christmas decorations waiting to be unboxed for the holiday season. But in the meantime, I have been able to feel that warm, fuzzy Christmas cheer thanks to my Soundfreaq Sound Spot. This “Mashable Choice” award-winning Bluetooth speaker helps me decorate with sound! I’m serious. I don’t have a Christmas tree (yet), no stockings are hung by my chimney (yet) – but if I stream my Christmas playlist through the Sound Spot speaker, we are instantly feeling like walking in a Winter Wonderland!

I can’t wait to invite people over for a holiday party. My Sound Spot speakers will help me create a festive mood in with music that I can carry from room to room.

I love my Christmas music playlist. It’s full of some of the best Christmas songs ever. Want to know what’s on it? Here you go:

  • “Winter Wonderland” by Tony Bennett
  • “Blue Christmas” by Elvis Presley
  • “Jingle Bell Rock” by Bobby Helms
  • “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” by Brenda Lee
  • “White Christmas” by Bing Crosby
  • “Do They Know It’s Christmas” by Band-Aid
  • “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer” by Elmo & Patsy
  • “Frosty the Snowman” by Gene Autry
  • “Little St. Nick” by The Beach Boys
  • “Feliz Navidad” by Jose Feliciano
  • “Holly Jolly Christmas” by Burl Ives
  • “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” by Frank Sinatra
  • “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” by Dean Martin
  • “Sleigh Ride” by Ella Fitzgerald

What songs are on your holiday playlist? I’m sure they will sound extra special when you listen to them on a Soundfreaq Sound Spot. I love how portable the conveniently sized Sound Spot can be. It’s small enough to sit just about anywhere, in any room. I usually put it on the windowsill in my kitchen or on the mantel by my fireplace.

The rechargeable lithium ion battery is another great feature. The Sound Spot will give you up to 7 hours of playtime before needing to be recharged. Sound Spot is simple to charge. Just plug it directly into your computer or any powered USB port for quick and easy charging.

The Sound Spot is a great way to fill the room with music. It’s small, but creates big sound! And it’s quality sound, too. Not tinny or weak. If you want an even louder sound, you can daisy chain 2 Sound Spots together.

Sound Spots come in 11 cute colors (in addition to the black and wood-white) to fit in with any home’s decor! We got the Basic Black and Wood-White, which looks great just about anywhere I want to put it. The Sound Spot has a clean, modern design that will look nice in your home.

Charge your phone while you stream music! The Sound Spot includes a USB power port so you can charge your phone, even while Sound Spot is running on battery power.

Soundfreaq speakers are compatible with any wireless devices including phones, tablets and MP3 players. My boys are getting MP3 players for Christmas this year, and the Sound Spot will be the perfect companion. They can play music in their room or take it with them throughout the house. I’m sure they will even take it outside. They always “stole” the Soundfreaq speaker out of my bedroom, so I’m happy they will each have their own Sound Spot.

Get into the holiday spirit with music and the Soundfreaq Sound Spot! Music is the easiest way to liven up your room’s decor.

Where would you use your Sound Spot? Are you ready to enjoy taking music from room-to-room with you?

WHERE TO BUY:

The Soundfreaq Sound Spot ($69) is available for purchase at major retailers including Target.

I can’t believe those are speakers! As much as I would want the purple ones I had better stick with white for my house. I like that they could be in plain view and no one would really ever know.

I really like the look of these. We don’t have any type of speakers in our house, but have been talking about getting some for our music.

Very cool! I like those speakers. They blend so well with your fireplace you would hardly notice them. I like that they have bright colors if you want them to pop in your decor too. 🙂

I had seen them in the natural tones but I didn’t realize they were also available in all those pretty colors. They’re so neat! I’m listening to Christmas music these days too!

That looks fantastic. I like that it blends into the decorations and isn’t gigantic. our current speaker is much bigger than I would like it to be.

I am so happy to see that with the way the industry has shrunk speakers, that now they are thinking about aesthetics when it comes to things like sound systems. I am amazed at the way speakers have gone from being the size of a filing cabinet, small boxes or other shapes that are powerhouses of sound. I like the look of these Soundfreaq Speakers, particularly the mix of textures.
