VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels™ Garage Review

September 20, 2013 by Nicole 27 Comments

Mom Always Finds Out received the VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels™ Garage for review. All opinions expressed are my own.

vtech logoVTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels™ Garage is the first toy from the Go! Go! Smart Wheels line-up that we have ever had. I know, it’s hard to believe my household of little boys hasn’t gotten one of these until now! Each of the different Go! Go! Smart Wheels play sets can actually connect to each other for the ultimate electronic learning experience.

The VTech SmartPoint technology is really cool because it helps young kids (ages 1-5) develop language skills. When any of the Go! Go! Smart Wheels SmartPoint vehicles crosses over a SmartPoint on any playset, the vehicle responds with phrases, sounds and more! My 2-year-old really loves the vehicles and spends a lot of time running them along the play set’s tracks.

The Go! Go! Smart Wheels interactive garage has a spiral ramp, gas station, traffic stop, elevator, parking pad, and helicopter landing pad that provide pretend-play and learning elements. The Smart Wheels Garage play set comes with the Tow Truck.  Everyone in our family now sings one of the Tow Truck’s catchy songs, Do you need a tow truck? Call me – I am on the way!

By the way, I have some good news for parents: You can switch the toy’s music and sounds On and Off whenever you want.

Other Go! Go! Go! Go! Smart Wheels vehicles cost about $7.99 each. There is a car, truck, police car, helicopter, cement mixer, 2 different race cars, and a tractor. Children love to play with cars, and the Smart Wheels vehicles are the perfect size for little hands to grasp and hold.

VTech toys like this work on motor skills as well as imaginative play.  I think it will be fun to add more vehicles to our Smart Wheels Garage set. Of course, it will also be fun to add more play sets like the Train Station, Airport, Race Track, Construction and Car Carrier.

The Vtech Smart Wheels Garage is also pretty sturdy. Your kids will have a hard time destroying the toys. A+
