Ingredients

8cups plain popped popcorn*equals 2 microwaveable popcorn bags, popped
2cups mini pretzels
1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
1cup Brown Sugar
2Tablespoons light corn syrup
3cups Mini Marshmallows
1/2teaspoon Vanilla
1 to 1.5cups Orange, Blue and Brown M&MsI used Plain, Mini and Peanut M&Ms and picked out mostly orange M&Ms plus some blue and brown ones.
4pieces Black licoriceCut into 1/4 inch pieces
2-3Tablespoons Silver Jimmies

Instructions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat. Mix popped popcorn and pretzels and spread into an even layer on the baking sheet. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and corn syrup and stir to combine completely. Reduce heat to low and add marshmallows, stirring until they are completely melted. Immediately remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Carefully pour the marshmallow caramel mixture over the popcorn and pretzels. Gently stir to coat the popcorn and pretzels as evenly as possible. (It’s sticky!)
Stir in the M&Ms and licorice. Add salt to taste, if desired.

Recipe Notes

BB-8 Caramel Popcorn is best eaten the same day it is made. However, this popcorn can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week. It will remain soft and sticky.
