In a medium to large pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil on medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic, and ground beef. Cook, stirring frequently, until meat is browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Stir in chicken broth, Barilla sauce, beans, chili powder and cumin. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and add Barilla Pronto Penne Pasta. Cover, reduce heat to a low simmer and cook until pasta is al dente (about 10 minutes.)
Remove from heat. Stir in the Cheddar Cheese. Garnish with cilantro.
