  1. Rinse ice off of frozen crab legs. Use a sharp knife to split crab legs into smaller pieces that fit into the steaming basket.
  2. Fill steamer or large pot with water and bring to a boil. Note: No matter what size pot you are using, it’s important to make sure that your steaming basket insert will not be covered by water when you put it into the pot. You want the basket to sit above the boiling water so the crab will get steamed.
  3. Add crab legs and cover with lid. Steam for 8 to 10 minutes or until crab legs are heated through.
  4. Serve with sliced lemons and unsalted butter, melted for dipping.
