Princess Elsa and Anna’s Hot Chocolate with Sparkle Marshmallows

November 14, 2014 by Nicole

Have you heard of a movie called Frozen? It’s about two princesses who live in a really cold place. Oh, you HAVE heard of Princess Elsa and Anna? So you must know how they like to keep warm by drinking a special white hot chocolate with colorful sparkle marshmallows!

Do you want to build a snowman?

Winter is the perfect time to have a snowman building party with your friends. Once you’re done, come back inside for some of Princess Elsa and Anna’s special hot chocolate – you can have sparkle marshmallows just like them! And THEN everyone can watch the Frozen movie. If you love to sing, Princess Elsa and Anna have a special Frozen Sing-Along DVD that includes the movie with all the words to the songs. They would really like for you to sing-along with them.

You’ll need:

  • Your favorite gourmet white hot chocolate mix prepared according to package directions
  • Mini Marshmallows
  • Colored Sprinkles (blue, white, purple)

How to make Sparkle Marshmallows.

It’s really easy – and fun – to add sparkles to your marshmallows. All you have to do is take a little paint brush, dip it in water, and paint your marshmallow with water. Be sure not to get the marshmallow too wet, though — just a little bit to make it slightly damp is enough. Once your marshmallow is damp, dip it into a bowl full of colored sprinkles. Roll it around until it is covered, then put it onto a plate to dry.

Now your sparkle marshmallows are ready to add to your hot chocolate!

This is such a awesome thing to make with the kids, they love hot cocoa when it gets colder out, as we live in Michigan and it is really cold now. Love the colored marshmallows.
