Holiday Gift Guide: BeginAgain Toys Bath Tub Ball (**Giveaway**)

December 19, 2011 by Nicole

The BeginAgain toy workshop mixes old-fashioned storytelling type fun and play in with the desire to create toys from sustainable plant materials and the latest eco-plastics.  Their toys are based on the theories of early 20th century Colorado inventor Benjamin Barlowe who believed that “Kids already have the best job in the world, to play. It’s full time work and the way they play shapes the way they grow. The toy box is the child’s first tool box. Toys are meant to inspire kids to draw, build, explore, tell stories, play games, and ultimately save the day.”

Ben’s workshop has 4 Simple Rules I think all parents can appreciate:

Rule 1: Kids are the real noisemakers.  No batteries, no electronics, ever!

Rule 2: Share your ideas, then build.  Collaborate, share and build in partnership.

Rule 3: Don’t leave a mess.  Take OIL out of play, use plant based materials whenever possible and always reduce, recycle, and seek improvement.

Rule 4: Great products have greater purpose.  BeginAgain gives 1% to the community.

BeginAgain’s A WISH Collection of toys is inspired by Mr. Barlowe’s ideas about the way children play.  Each category represents one of the distinct patterns of play that children use every day.  Toys found within each category encourage that particular play skill development.  Children can enjoy a well-balanced play time with “A WISH” Collection toys!

A – Artist

W – Writer

I – Inventor

S – Sportster

H – Hero

B – is for the beginner – here you will find toys that practice fine motor skills.

The Bathtub Ball is a great way for young Heros to show off their super skills and enjoy some good, clean fun at the same time!  This underwater adventure set features play figures for bath time (or POOL time) including two sharks, a hero diver with old-fashioned helmet, and an octopus.  They are conveniently contained in the ball-shaped carry case.  What’s green and great about this set?  The toys are made from heavy duty natural rubber and are dishwasher safe.  (Ages 3+, Buy It Now – $22)

Where can you find BeginAgain Products?

BeginAgain Toys is keeping busy in their workshop to continually add their responsibly crafted toys to the collection.  Be sure to visit their online web store often to learn about and purchase the latest additions.

GIVEAWAY TIME!

BeginAgain toys would like to give one little adventurer a Bathtub Ball set.  Open to USA residents ages 18 and up; ends on January 8, 2012.  Please enter the giveaway using the Rafflecopter Entry Form below:
