I received the Essentials kit for my review, which is wonderful for me because I love a simple skin care regimen. This set includes the Botanical Cleanser, Camu C Serum and Replenishing Moisturizer and retails for $179.00. The fact that these products use all-natural ingredients is important to me because I like to use natural products whenever possible. I hoped these would be effective, because I don’t think it is necessary to apply harmful chemicals to my skin in order to clean and protect it from signs of aging. Amazon Rain Lluvia Essentials has proven to me that nature’s ingredients can combine to care for my skin in a very healthy way.
I found each of the products to be extremely gentle on my skin. The Botanical Cleanser removed makeup, oil, and dirt without making my skin feel dry or tight. I was very happy with the way it cleaned my skin without stripping it of moisture. The cleanser is more of a liquid than a cream and does not foam. I noticed that it did not remove eye makeup (mascara) very easily and I needed to use a separate eye makeup remover. The fresh fragrance was very pleasing.
Camu C Serum is nature’s secret weapon against fine lines and wrinkles. Unlike other serums I have used in the past, the Camu C Serum is not a sticky, thick solution; it is more of a thin liquid that quickly absorbs into my skin. I love knowing that I am applying a high concentration of antioxidants directly to my skin with this serum. I have noticed that it is effective in softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Camu Camu is the “ultimate superfruit” of the Amazon, and is a key ingredient found in this formula.
The Replenishing Moisurizer is the third step of the Essentials skin care regimen. At first, I was really surprised at the thinnish consistency of the moisturizer. I would normally expect a more creamy lotion type of texture. Honestly, I didn’t think it would be very effective at moisturizing my skin. But it was. I used these products for more than a month and never once experienced dryness. (My skin type is on the normal to oily side.) If you have dry skin, there are other Amazon Rain products you can use to provide your skin with additional moisture as needed.
My Overall Reaction: My skin is balanced, more even-toned and has seen improvement of fine lines and wrinkles during the Amazon Rain Lluvia Essentials trial period. I love using all-natural and organic skin care products, and do recommend the Essentials 3-step skin care to others.
