Star Wars fans know that May 4 is a special day…it’s STAR WARS DAY! In honor of the occasion, Hasbro sent my family the Angry Birds Star Wars Millenium Falcon Bounce Game ($19.99) to review. And yes, there is an Angry Birds Star Wars game giveaway in it for you, too!
My heart sank a little bit when I read the instructions on the box: Adult Assembly Required. I am notoriously bad at putting things together. And you pretty much have to build a cardboard Millenium Falcon for this game. My boys were gung-ho on playing this game, so I rallied and did my best to punch out pieces and put them together. It took me about half an hour to figure things out and get the stickers put on all the pieces.
Once the Millenium Falcon and Angry Birds game pieces were set up, the fun began. You get three colored ping pong balls and a few chances to bounce them and try to knock those pesky Star Wars Angry Birds off the Millenium Falcon. The boys quickly realized that this game was easier for them to play on the floor instead of at the table.
There were many cries of “This game is awesome!” and “It’s my turn now!” and even claims of “I can knock down all 5 Angry Birds with one ball!” (That claim is totally impossible, by the way…and it was made my husband who was trying to show off for the boys!)
My young Star Wars and Angry Birds fans had a great time playing the Angry Birds Star Wars Millenium Falcon Bounce Game. This 1-2 player game is recommended for ages 8 and up. We totally tailored it to fit our needs and played it with 4 people ages 3 and up! Players can also unlock ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS in-app content with a special code in each pack.
