The first time I visited the Bright Future International (BFI) Facebook page, I was greeted with a message that “for every new Like, $1 will be donated to helping children in Kenya, Burundi, and Russia.” Wow, that opportunity doesn’t happen to me every day on Facebook! I was more than happy to click a Like for such a good cause. As I continued to scroll down the page, I learned that it is also possible to make even larger donations to any of the children in those countries – right there on BFI’s Facebook page!
Bright Future International is an organization helping underprivileged children achieve a better lifestyle and provide hope for their future. There are different stories shared on their Facebook page about children living in Kenya, Burundi and Russia who need help. Contributions from caring people can make a huge difference in their lives.
I was most impressed by the story of a young girl Ethiopian girl named Ginet, who was forced to flee to Kenya. She was only 14 years old and pregnant. Refugees like Ginet have received shelter, food, clothing, medical care, education, and more by the Hershima Kenya program, which is supported by charitable contributions from caring people from around the world…people like you and me. It’s exciting to think that a small monetary donation can make a life-changing impact.
You can read more about Ginet and stories of other needy children at the Bright Future International Facebook page. Once you’ve read the stories, you will have the option to make a donation to the charity of your choice. I encourage you to go there to learn more about the BFI organization – and remember, for every new Like, a $1 donation will be made to helping these children.
I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central for Bright Future International. A small donation to Bright FutureInternational was made in my name from Mom Central as a thank-you for participating.
