Football Craft Ideas: How To Make Football Party Pails

Turn small brown pails into super cute Football Party Pails with this easy football craft idea. Use the mini football pails as football party decorations, give them as party favors, or fill them with snacks for your guests.

My boys love to have football parties any time of year at my house, and especially during football season. I saw these small brown metal buckets at Oriental Trading, and knew it would be easy to make them look like little football buckets. We filled the football party pails with our favorite homemade sweet and salty snack mix to serve at our big game party.

Want to make this football craft for your football game day party? Here’s how it’s done.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

Add white football laces to each pail by cutting a 3-inch long strip of white tape or vinyl. Cut the strip to be about 1/4 of an inch wide. Stick the strip at a 45-degree angle on the front side of the pail.
Cut three more strips of white tape or vinyl. Each strip should be about 1-inch long and about 1/4 of an inch wide. Stick the shorter strips to the pail along the first strip (as shown in photos.) Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each pail.
