The lucky winner of the Curbside Chaos yard makeover had a great time creating the yard of her dreams with expert Taniya Novak. See for yourself in the video at Curbside Chaos.
A $5,000 yard makeover would work wonders in my yard! We have currently got a crazy project going on that we are not quite sure how to proceed. I need an expert like Taniya to help me figure out the best way to layout my flower gardens. I would love to add tons of colorful bulbs and maybe even a few trees. I also want to buy patio furniture because our outdoor living space is looking pretty sad these days. .

BECOME A GARDEN GURU!
You don't have to be an expert gardener to plant bulbs in your yard for beautiful color. Bulbs are actually pretty simple and can be used in a variety of ways. Use the Garden Guru tool in the bottom left hand corner of the screen at Curbside Chaos to help you figure out which bulbs will grow best in your area of the country. Simply select your country (US or Canada), find your zone on the map and select the color. A drop down menu will appear allowing you to pick the month you want your bulbs to bloom. The month you choose determines the plant choices that will appear. Pick your favorites and you will get Step by Step instructions on how to plant them in your yard.
I have a few bulbs (tulips and daffodils) that bloom early every spring. I'm hoping to find some later blooming bulbs to continue the colorful blooms in my yard into the summer months.
Bulbs don't have to be used just for gardening. There are many surprising ways you can incorporate them into your home – both inside and out. Use them as decorations, fun projects for children, gift giving and more! One of my favorite things to do in the wintertime is "force" bulbs to bloom indoors.
Meet the Ladies
Curbside Chaos website has a group of lovely ladies with different gardening styles. I am most like Marcy, although I'd never call myself a "Super Mom"! Her gardening style is a lot like mine – she wants to have beautiful flowers as long as the garden is farily simple to take care of because daily life at home with kids keeps her super busy. Which lady do you relate to the most?
