Have you tried the Glad Black Bags yet? I replaced my usual kitchen garbage bags with the Glad Black Bags and have been very impressed with how much garbage and goop they can handle! They are Extra Large, Extra Strong and Extra Perfect for all my family’s needs.
A few of my favorite things about Glad Black Bags:
The Glad bags actually fit my garbage can and don’t fall down into it. It can be so frustrating when bags do not stay put around the rim of the can. My boys (husband included) have some sort of unspoken contest to see how full they can get our garbage can before it spills out onto the floor. I think it’s a lame attempt to avoid taking out the garbage. The larger sized Glad bags we have started using are great for holding a full can of garbage and even catching the “overflow”!
They are Tear-Resistant and Extra Strong! There is nothing worse than finding a stinky puddle of goo at the bottom of your garbage can because of a leaky garbage bag. I love the extra strong Glad bags that don’t rip open and leak everywhere, thanks to the ForceFlex action.
Glad Black Bags are so strong, you don’t have to worry about them ripping open when it’s time to take the garbage out.
The holiday season is a time of year we create more garbage than ever. We clean up after parties, entertain family and friends, and have lots of empty boxes and gift wrap from all the toys and other items we receive. Extra Large and Extra Strong Glad bags will help my family contain the mess and get it where it needs to go.
As the holidays approach, one of my favorite use for a Glad Black Bag is to clean out my kid’s toy room to make way for the new toys they will get for Christmas. I filled up a large Glad bag with our gently used toys and donated it to a local thrift store.
Flashback To A Wild and Crazy Moment
The worst mess I have ever faced in my home was the destruction caused by two of our dogs. My husband and I let the dogs stay in the house (unsupervised, what were we thinking?!) when we went to work every day. One night, we came home and my husband unlocked our front door to the house and immediately turned around and told me to stay in the car. He had seen a peek the mess our dogs had made in our living room and knew I would go ballistic!
Of course, I’m not going to stay in the car when I know something terrible has happened, so we both went in and literally could not believe the mess. The dogs had gotten into the pantry and pulled out bags of food, ripped them open and strewn it around the house. Of course they had a heyday eating boxes of junk food and treats. Rice, cereal, and anything else you can think of was spilled everywhere! Plus, they had started ripping into our couch – there were big chunks of couch cushion foam all over the place.
We did not take a picture of the chaos because we were so angry at the time, but now that I can look back and laugh at the situation, I wish that we had pictures. I’m sure we used a ton of trash bags to clean up this mess. It was seriously bad. And the dogs were so excited to see us, we couldn’t even blame them for what they had done. Of course, they were never left alone inside the house ever again.
Have your pets every treated you to a mess like that?
