My boys love to talk about what they are going to be for Halloween. I love that there are tons of children’s Halloween costumes and ideas to be found online. Besides the great selection of costumes, Kmart has got everything you need to decorate your home inside and out for Halloween. One of our favorite ways to get ready for Halloween is to make our front porch look spooky. We like to hang orange and purple light sets on the stair rails, along with fake spider webs and creepy spiders. I got a ton of inspiration on how to transform our home into a haunted house when I check out Kmart’s affordable Halloween decor such as lighted tombstones, Zombie Hand yard stakes and 50-inch hairy spiders. I know our neighborhood trick-or-treaters would love it if we got the Totally Ghoul fog machine for the entryway!
Our favorite Halloween tradition is the classic carving of the pumpkin. I don’t know if it’s the icky sticky pumpkin guts or just having fun family time together, but my boys sure do look forward to making our Jack o’Lantern every year.
