It’s never too early to get a jump start on holiday shopping – especially if you don’t want to miss out on the hottest toys. I have four boys across a wide span of age ranges. The youngest is 6 and the oldest is almost 14 years old. They all love to keep up with the latest tech toys. I asked for their expert advice to help me feature some of the hot toys available at Best Buy.

We sat down together and checked out the 2017 Best Buy Holiday Toy Guide. Each child picked out their favorite gift idea from the Best Buy Toy List for me to share with you.

The 6-year-old picks: Hatchimals Surprise Egg 

Kids love the anticipation of waiting for their speckled eggs to begin to hatch. The Surprise is finding out which one of these electronic plush animals you get!

Last year, Hatchimals were sold out before December rolled around. This holiday season, Hatchimals are back at the top of the Hot Toy List. Best Buy has Hatchimal Surprise in stock right now. I can’t promise how long they will last, so shop now for the best selection.

The 8-year-old picks: Sphero R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid 

What Star Wars fan doesn’t want their very own R2-D2? The Sphero R2-D2 app-enabled droid is a fun robot toy with authentic LEDs and a motion sensor detects your presence and reacts. It even makes Beeps and Boops sounds just like the R2-D2 movie character.

The 10-year-old picks: Anki Cozmo

The Anki Cozmo is the must-have robot friend for kids ages 8 and up. Anki Cozmo loves to interact with people, recognizes faces, plays games and responds with real emotions.

The 13-year-old picks: Recoil Starter Set

Play Laser Tag anytime, anywhere with the Recoil Starter Set. It includes two pistols and a Wi-Fi router that lets up to 16 players participate at a time, and it uses a dedicated smartphone app that keeps track of ammo and other stats.
