I still have Harry Potter party ideas to share from the Harry Potter birthday party! This Harry Potter wand craft is a fun Harry Potter party activity. Or, make a bunch of wizard wands ahead of time to give as party favors.
The wizard wands pictured above are ready to give out as party favors. Each wand has a simple kraft paper label tied on with twine. We just made up Harry Potter-ish stuff to write on the wand description labels like “unicorn hair,” “phoenix feather,” and “dragon heartstring.”
For the DIY wand display, we punched holes in a cardboard box and stuck the wands in the hole. Super easy way to get the wands to stand up on their own.

Special Note For Making this Craft with Kids: The hot glue gun part of the craft is for an adult to do. OR, if older kids really want to give hot gluing a try, please supervise them at all times.
After the hot glue has cooled and hardened, it’s time for the best part of making the wands. Kids and adults of all ages love the painting part! You may decide to keep your wand a simple color like brown, or gray, or black. OR, you can make it colorful and even sparkly with craft paint.
