April is quickly coming to a close, but it is not too late to join Pfister and Rebuilding Together for National Rebuilding Month. For every new Like on Pfister’s Facebook page, $1 worth of product will be donated to help homes in need. Hurry over and hit the Like button while there is still time!
As of this afternoon, they were less than 500 Likes away from their revised (and increased!) goal of $25,000. Wow, way to go, everyone! Let’s keep the Likes pouring in — because every $1 does make a difference in someone’s life.
If you are already a fan of Pfister, you can help out by making a monetary donation to Rebuilding Together through the Friends of Pfister campaign on Causes.com! Pfister will even match your donation up to a total of $5,000.
I have been blessed to live in communities that have never been devastated by natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes. But that doesn’t mean I can’t join in organizations to help keep my community clean and safe. My family enjoys our annual neighborhood clean-up parties, where everyone goes around picking up debris and garbage that has collected over the winter months. It helps to create a sense of pride and friendship in our area, plus helps teach our children to take care of their surroundings.
