My kids and I recently watched the Jungle Jim pilot show together. We enjoy educational shows about wildlife, and Jungle Jim makes it exciting to learn about animals.
On the show, Jungle Jim explores the Animal Kingdom with his friends (Flip the Monkey, Dash the Cheetah, Scratch the Porcupine and Stripes the Tiger.)
Jungle Jim and his animal friends are colorful, animated characters, but they see video footage of real, live animals in their natural habitat. My kids especially liked the animal videos, so I hope the show continues to provide more of it.
The animated animals on the show can sing! Music is a great way to connect with young children. They will love Jungle Jim’s original tunes. The animals sing songs about themselves to teach fun animal facts.
At my house, we can’t quit singing Tiger’s song about camouflage: “You can’t see me/cause I got camoflauge” It is a really catchy song – watch Jungle Jim and see for yourself!

About Jungle Jim:
Jungle Jim was created by a dad, Steven Wagner, whose children always wanted to read books about animals and talk about them. One morning, Steve woke up with an idea for a musical animal show. He developed the concept so he can help kids everywhere satisfy their curiosity about animals. His brother, Eric, is a musician who writes and produces all the Jungle Jim music. Eric is also the voice of all the animals on the show, except Dash the Cheetah. Jungle Jim is voiced by Eric’s son.
