My family has moved twice within the past year. I learned that while we were in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the moving process, it was easy to forget that our kids needed help adjusting to their new surroundings. 10. Unpack your child’s room first – Moving is exhausting for everyone, but organizing your child’s belongings first will help to keep them calm while you unpack the remainder of the house.
