Over the years, I have owned no less than 2 spice racks. They seem to come and go at my house, just depending on the current set up of our kitchen. I am a bit frustrated right now without a spice rack. All of my spices are hidden one behind the other in a kitchen cabinet, which means I have to sift through lots of tiny spice bottles every time I am hunting for a spice. It’s very inconvenient. No wonder people have invented all sorts of kitchen spice racks!
There are many different ways to incorporate a spice rack into your kitchen décor. A space saving option would be a wall spice rack. I like these because they do not take up valuable counter space, but the spices are still easily accessible for viewing.
A spice rack on the counter can be easy to get to and grab whatever you need right when you need it. If I had an extra drawer in my kitchen, I’d love to just have a spice rack in a drawer. That way, I know they would stay put until I needed them. They would be close at hand, but not have to be out in plain view all the time.
