The Halloween season is prime time for watching “scary” movies. My kids think they want to watch something scary, but in reality, I know it doesn’t take much more than an actor wearing a white sheet to cause them to have nightmares for a month.
Here is a list of some of my family’s favorite Halloween “Scary” Movies, along with some personal age recommendations. We have watched each of these movies (multiple times) in the past, so I don’t mind recommending them to you as good ones to watch with your family. However, please use your own best judgment when it comes to the scary movies you let your children watch.

Goosebumps – The Haunted Mask II
The Goosebumps series is full of fun and spine-tingling tales. This one is especially appropriate for Halloween viewing.
Ages 8 and up.

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Ages 3 and up. Even the adults like this one!
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse – Mickey’s Treat
Ages 2 and up.
It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
All ages. Halloween CLASSIC!
