The Florsheim brand has been known for their high quality shoes since 1892! I love that they have expanded their line-up to include a large selection of casual and dressy shoes, boots and sandals for boys. Florsheim Kids shoes are hand-crafted from fine materials and are inspired by classic men’s styles you are sure to recognize. The Fall/Winter 2014 collection is on trend with modern and vintage colors.
I let my older boys (ages 7 and 10) pick out a pair of Florsheim Kids shoes for this Fall and Winter. They love to pick out their own things, and I know they can’t go wrong when we shop online at Florsheim.com. We shop Florsheim for quality, stylish shoes my boys really want to wear.
The Pine Slip Jr. ($65, Florsheim.com) is a rugged hiking shoe perfect for boys to wear this fall and winter. The upper is made from durable leather and the rubber soles are made for good traction. These comfortable, casual shoes look really nice with this season’s jeans and cords. My son likes the easy slip-on style and his feet don’t get too hot because of the breathable, moisture-wicking Suedetec inner lining. You can see the red pull-straps that kids can use to get the shoes on by themselves.
This shoe is available in two color options: Stone and Brown CH. Both options are a version of brown – the Stone option (shown in our pictures) is lighter brown than the Brown CH. Pine Slip Jr. is a great style for every day. I know my son will get a lot of wear out of these.
The Kearny Jr. ($60, Florsheim.com) is a style my oldest son is pretty loyal to wearing. This is his second pair of Kearny Jr. shoes – he outgrew his original pair. What he loves most about his newest pair is the Navy/Multi colors. He is a Seattle Seahawks football fan, so this shoe is literally the perfect fit for him. Even if your son isn’t a Seahawks fan, chances are this stylish color combo will appeal to him.
Florsheim Kids’ Kearny Jr. line-up is available in a lot of really nice colors including browns, tans, navy, black, white and gray. The soft suede oxford style is a timeless classic. These shoes must be comfortable or my son would not want to wear them all the time – believe me, he is ten years old and can be quite picky. He usually wears them when he needs to dress up a bit more than his usual everyday tennis shoes. But these are definitely casual enough to wear to school or play.
