TIME For Kids Big Book of WHY Activity Book is just the thing to keep kids busy on long road trips, airplane rides or anytime they need some downtime. The activities in the book are fun, challenging and educational for older kids (ages 8 to 12 years.)
Kids can learn about all sorts of subjects: Animals, Earth, Space, History, Science, Tech, Sports and more. Something inside the book is sure to catch their attention, and who knows, it could spark a brand new interest!
I have four sons, so I know it can sometimes be challenging to find books for boys. All of my kids enjoy reading fact-filled books from TIME For Kids. I think it was a genius idea for the editors to create children’s activity books based on the best-selling Big Book of WHY series.
My kids love that this activity book is a mix of fun facts and games like mazes, word searches, coloring pages, crossword puzzles, sudoku and lots more.

Real photography and colorful illustrations draw kids in to the Big Book of WHY Activity Book for hours. If your child has ever wondered about things like WHY the ocean is salty, WHY do tornadoes form, and WHY did the Incas build Machu Picchu, they will enjoy finding out the answers to those questions and more.
There is no wasted space in this 128-page book. Every page contains the answers to at least one interesting question along with a challenge activity to make kids think. As I flip through the pages, I am pretty impressed with the variety of activities. It’s jam packed with games, quizzes, fill-in-the-blacks, acrostics, puzzles, caption this, word scrambles and all sorts of other things my kids like to do.
