I recently planted my very first herb garden kit. It literally took less than 5 minutes for me to set it up. There is no mess (no soil needed!) and plants grow 5 times faster with energy-efficient grow lights.
Once the unit is plugged in, it is fairly self-sufficient. I will need to refill the water and nutrients approximately every 2 weeks. Other than that, I simply sit back and watch the plants grow.
I have very limited counter space in my kitchen, which is where keep my Aerogarden because I love to watch my plants grow. The Aerogarden 3SL has a slim, compact design that doesn’t take up much of my kitchen counter. I can keep tabs on my herbs (currently growing: Basil, Dill and Parsley) plus they are close by when I need them for cooking.

It is so fun to watch this. The herbs are growing unbelievably fast. It’s like the dill grows while I am looking at it! It’s also fun to have something green around in the kitchen even though it’s winter outside. 🙂
