The blog post Buy Energizer Batteries, Get $5 Walmart e-Gift Card + You’ll Love This Battery Organizer Idea! is sponsored by Mirum. All opinions are my own.
I was reading my kids’ Christmas Wish Lists and had to laugh at one of the items on my 13-year-old son’s list. He asked for a large package of Energizer AA batteries! I guess that means he must really, really want a stash of AA batteries all to himself. I have never had a kid ask for batteries before. He must be growing up!
My teen is a gamer, and needs AA batteries throughout the year to power his Xbox controller. He doesn’t like to put his gaming on hold if we run out of replacement batteries. We use Energizer MAX™ batteries because they are long-lasting and are designed to protect against damaging leaks for up to two years after fully used.
Energizer Batteries should be on everyone’s Holiday Shopping List (especially if the kids are receiving battery-operated toys and games.)
Be sure you have the right number and size of batteries to power all the gifts under the tree.

I recently did a bit of holiday shopping at Walmart for my kiddos. I found the toys, games and more they were wishing for on their lists — and I remembered to buy plenty of Energizer batteries, too! Don’t you just love it when one toy calls for two different sizes of batteries? It seems like that happens a lot to me.
I always try to have AA and AAA batteries on hand at home, but then a toy will come out of nowhere needing C or D batteries! So then I turn the battery drawer upside down looking to see if I have the kinds we need. Our battery drawer is a mess, so I decided to organize our batteries before the holiday madness kicks in. As you can see, I am completely out of C batteries and need to pick up more D batteries, too. I am definitely going to buy those batteries at Walmart because I want to earn $5 e-gift cards.
Easy Battery Organizer Hack!
At Walmart, I found an easy fix to our battery organization problem. I bought an inexpensive cutlery tray (aka the drawer organizer for forks, spoons and knives) and sorted our Energizer batteries. There is plenty of space for each type of battery to have its own slip in the battery organizer.
This battery organizer doesn’t just help us find batteries faster, it shows which batteries we are running low on so that I can re-stock. I love knowing that I can buy Energizer MAX batteries in large quantities because they hold their power for up to 10 years while in storage. Of course, my family will use these batteries WAY before that deadline!
Energizer MAX AA batteries and AAA batteries are now their longest-lasting MAX™ batteries. Learn more when you Shop Energizer Batteries at Walmart. Remember to keep your receipt so you can earn the $5 Walmart egift card when you spend $15 on Energizer batteries.

I try to always include batteries with my gifts. We use both rechargeable ones and disposal ones around our house. Both come in handy when needed. #HomeMattersParty

Where can we post to engerizer about not getting our gift card after they confirmed our purchase?
They said they would send our gift card in email and they didn’t do it and time is running out.
Thanks for any advice you can give us.

Hi Dorothy,
Sometimes reaching out to a company on social media (I would suggest trying the Energizer Facebook page) and asking would help get an answer from someone. I submitted my receipt, too, and am still waiting on my gift card. I can’t remember if they said I would get an email or in the mailbox mail. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. I’ll try to see if I can find something out and email you if I learn anything new. –Nicole

What a great hack! I used to use rechargeable batteries, but they never held their charge after too many charges… so we went back to the regular and we now always have tons on hand!!! #HomeMattersParty
