One of my favorite parts of spring cleaning is putting away our snow boots! Yea! Once those bulky things are gone, we have plenty of room for new spring shoes. My boys grew a bit over the winter and really need new dress shoes. Florsheim Kids is one of the first places we go to shop kid’s shoes. We know from past experience that their shoes are high quality. Their shoes are hand-crafted from rich materials like suede and leather.
Now that my oldest child is 10 years old, he has definite opinions about everything he wears. And for some reason, he doesn’t trust Mom enough to shop for him anymore! So, I let him browse the Florsheim Kids website and pick his favorite shoe. He chose the Kearny Jr., which is a classic Oxford-style suede shoe. I think the Indigo color is what really got his attention. Blues are his favorite. He looks like a real trendsetter in his blue suede shoes!
The shoes are lightweight with a flexible EVA sole. They are casual enough to wear to school but easy to dress up for more formal occasions. I love the color contrast with the lighter color blue shoelaces and light blue stitching on the shoes.
The sun was so bright, he couldn’t look up for pictures!
Not to be outdone by his older brother, my 4-year-old came onto the scene wearing HIS Florsheim Kids Kearny Jr. shoes. Same style shoe, but different color for a totally different look. We love this style so much, I just may have to buy them for my other two boys (I have four boys total).
Just another quick note here…he dressed himself and did a pretty good job until it came time to pick out a matching tie!
That brings me to another wonderful point about shopping at Florsheim Kids. They have shoes that fit Little Boys (Toddler sizes 10-13) all the way up through Big Boys sizes (1-6). My boys don’t *have* to wear matching shoes, but they do like to wear the same styles in different colors. The Gaucho color is a light tan suede which should look great with just about anything my son wears. The blue sole looks really cute with the lighter color suede.
