The 12 inch size is perfect for cornbread to frying just about anything. I leave my cast iron skillet out on the stove top because I use it so often. It is a really versatile piece and I think everyone should own one. The Lodge Logic Cast Iron Skillet is sturdy and nice. It’s heavy, too. There’s nothing wimpy about this skillet.

If you take care of it properly (cast iron does require special care when you clean it), it will last forever.

    so I know you’re supposed to clean cast iron a special way, but I never do, and neither does my mom. Hers has last her forever despite it. I do love my cast iron pan, thanks for letting us know about this deal!
