Every year, my family has the opportunity to help out with a community food drive. We do things like go door-to-door hanging donation flyers, volunteer to drive around and pick up food donations, and donate food items to our local food pantry. It is an great way for us to help families in our area.
There are children going hungry today in my community and yours. More than one in five children in the United States may not know where their next meal is coming from. That’s more than 15 million children! We can work together to fix this problem. ConAgra wants to help make it easy for everyone to support the cause in ways that actually make an impact.

Kid President, aka Robby Novak, has declared 2016 the Year of the Kid. As part of his campaign, he has released a video addressing child hunger in America. View or share this video from Kid President to help raise awareness for child hunger. For each of these actions, ConAgra will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to Feeding America, up to 100,000 meals. Update: Thanks to your support, ConAgra has met this goal! Different groups in my community hold food drives throughout the year. I like to support these groups, especially our local Boys Scouts troops, by donating food when asked. I buy extra canned food items at the grocery store and go through my pantry at home to find food items to give. It makes me feel good to know I am helping feed families in my community.
My family recently supported our sons’ Scout group by helping hang food drive fliers in our neighborhood. We are asked to do this once a year. It does not take long for us to go around and hang fliers, and is an easy way for us to get involved.
