Do you (or have you) ever had a newborn baby at home? Do you remember how many times you needed to change their diapers those first few months? I do! It seemed like I was constantly changing diapers with my newborn. In reality, it was more like every 2 hours. So yes, basically I was constantly changing diapers around the clock!
Fact: Babies will need to be changed at least 5,000 times before they are potty trained (Source: Earth’s Best).
If you use disposable diapers, you may have found yourself wishing for an eco-friendlier disposable diaper option. Good news! Earth’s Best baby care products give parents a way to reduce their infant’s environmental footprint. Earth’s Best brand of chlorine-free diapers, wipes and training pants are made with renewable resources.
Earth’s Best Chlorine Free Diapers come in a wide range of sizes from newborn to Size 6. We recently tried the diapers (Size 4 for my 2-year old). The Earth’s Best chlorine free diapers have been great for day use. I do need to be sure that diaper changes happen every few hours, but we have not experienced daytime leakage.
Overnight usage is a little tricky. My 2-year-old son sleeps about 12 hours straight, which means no chance to change his diaper at night. He usually wakes up with a super full (wet) diaper or occasionally the diaper gets so full that it has no choice but to leak.
I have ended up using the Earth’s Best diapers for daytime and found other options to keep him dry overnight. Younger babies may not have this type of leakage issue, but older babies/toddlers may wet so much that the absorbency just is not enough to last 10-12 hours or more.
Earth’s Best Chlorine Free wipes are unscented and moistened with a natural lotion containing Vitamin E and Aloe. I love the generous size of Earth’s Best baby wipes. I can usually wipe once, fold them over and wipe again without making a mess. A new feature (or at least a feature I have not noticed before) is that as you get close to the bottom of the wipes tub, a red-striped “Warning” Wipe (that’s what I call it!) pops out. The warning wipe lets you know it is time to hit the store for more wipes!
