Have Fun and Learn To Count! David Carter’s 100 (Children’s Book)

April 22, 2013 by Nicole

Mom Always Finds Out received David Carter’s 100 book for review. All opinions expressed are my own. This blog post may contain affiliate links.

Lift-the-flap books are a great way to let children interact with their reading materials. There are flaps on flaps on flaps inside David Carter’s 100 book that make learning to count a hundred times more fun! There are 100 surprises all along the way from the number 1 to one hundred.

David Carter’s 100 book is a wonderful way to help preschoolers and kindergarten students master their counting skills all the way up to 100! I have never seen any book quite like it. Most counting books stop way before the 100 mark. David Carter’s imaginative illustrations start at the number 1 and go all the way to 100. My kids and I enjoyed reading this book because of the colorful pictures on each flap. Every page has a different picture theme – our favorite was the dinosaur page!

Kids will love the pictures and different themes found throughout the book, including city streets, underwater scenes, and the forest. Other lift-the-flap book we have read just can’t compete with the sheer number of flaps found in here. There are literally flaps upon flaps to create a book full of surprises. It is so much fun to count to 100 with this book.

See David Carter’s 100 book in action on YouTube:

David Carter’s 100 is an educational book perfect for your child’s home library and for Kindergarten teachers. This book helped my Kindergarten student master the important math skill of counting from 1 to 100 this school year.

Where To Buy:

David Carter’s 100 is available for purchase at nationwide book retailers and online at Amazon.com.
