Daniel Tiger became one of my favorite PBS Kids show characters when his song When You Have to Go Potty, Stop… and Go Right Away! helped my preschooler to get daytime potty trained. He would watch the show, sing the lyrics and one day it just clicked with him what he needed to do when he had to go potty. I am thrilled to partner with PBS Kids to feature the latest Daniel Tiger and Peg + Cat DVD releases.

Just in case you are in the process of potty-training a child, I highly recommend Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Life’s Little Lessons DVD that has the Daniel Goes To the Potty episode. It is one of my son’s favorites and and all the songs are catchy, plus teach kids good lessons about everyday skills.

The newest Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood DVD from PBS Kids, Daniel Goes Camping, is perfect for spring and summer. Kids watch as Daniel the Tiger and his friend camp outdoors for the first time ever. They experience special nighttime outdoor activities from twinkling stars, playing with flashlights, and singing “Goodnight Sun.” It’s a magical experience for everyone.

The DVD features three episodes: Backyard Camping, Daniel’s Sleepover and Nighttime in the Neighborhood (extended adventure.) DVD Run Time: 40 minutes.

Look up in the sky! It’s Super Peg and Cat Guy! This dynamic duo makes it fun for kids to use their math skills. Super Peg and Cat use their super powers and problem solving skills to prevent Arch Villain, Triangulo, and Flat Woman from wreaking havoc on the city of Mathtropolis. As Super Peg and Cat Guy solve the city’s problems, they use basic geometry and lots of counting. It’s super fun to use math to save the day!

The DVD features four stories: The Arch Villain Problem, The Straight and Narrow Problem, The Flat Woman Problem, and The Race Car Problem. DVD Run Time: 50 minutes.

My kids enjoy watching DVDs when we go on road trips. I also drive on lots of Kindergarten field trips and use PBS Kids videos to keep the kids entertained.
