The ONLY app you really need at Disneyland (Skip the Lines!)

Going on a Disney trip? It is way too easy to get overwhelmed with information on where to stay, what attractions to visit and the best times to avoid the crowds. My advice is to try to keep things as simple as possible. There’s plenty of things to do and see, and you will have a great time. You can have an even better time if you know the secret to skipping the long lines! I am going to share my secret with you today. It saved my family a ton of time while we were at Disneyland.

Before my family’s Disneyland trip last year, I downloaded at least 10 Disney apps. I had apps for Disney weather, maps of the parks, trivia, you name it. Turns out, I really only needed ONE of those apps. This app was invaluable while we were at Disneyland and California Adventure. It gave me instant access to insider information about the rides and wait times. This magical app is called Disneyland MouseWait. It is the ONE app you need at Disneyland.

The BEST thing about Disneyland MouseWait.

Disneyland MouseWait has a lot of valuable features. But the BEST thing about this app is that it shows you accurate wait times for rides at Disneyland and California Adventure. I was constantly checking the Disneyland MouseWait app to see how long the lines were at the rides my kids wanted to visit. We saved a ton of wait time by going on rides with shorter wait times. We also got a sense of typical wait times for all of the different attractions – and could decide for ourselves if we were willing to wait in the longer lines or not.

We got our kids’ photo taken with Mickey Mouse, thanks to the Disneyland MouseWait app. I happened to be checking the app to see what had short wait times in our area of the park, and saw that the Mickey Mouse character visit had JUST opened! My husband was standing there with the boys, and I pointed over to where Mickey stood and said – calmly, of course — RUN! There’s no line at Mickey! This photo opp made the trip for me. I love it!
