It is officially time for my family to start the countdown to Easter with this (religious) Easter Advent Eggs activity that we have been doing the past several years. My children love it – and using colorful plastic Easter eggs helps keep their attention as we read the daily Bible verse and learn about a part of the Easter story.
I blogged about this advent activity last year and wanted to send out the annual reminder that…it’s time to do it again!!

Don’t worry if you are a little behind getting started on the Easter Advent countdown. It’s easy to catch up by opening more than one plastic egg per day. You could even do the whole thing at one sitting, depending on your child’s attention span.
