The Precision Elite digital Kitchen Scale is a wonderful addition to any kitchen. Bakers and cooks need a scale to weigh ingredients. Health Conscious folks can take charge of their diet can use this professional grade scale for portion control and counting calories. Cost conscious people can buy in bulk and portion out serving sizes.
The EatSmart Precision Elite features a stainless steel platform for durability. The platform is big enough to set a mixing bowl on top! I really like the extra large LED backlit screen – it makes the scale very easy to read. Other scales have a low weight limit…but not this one. The Precision Elite weighs up to 15 pounds!
If you are dieting, you will appreciate the FREE Calorie Factors and instruction booklet that comes with every scale. I flipped through the booklet and thought it made calorie counting and portioning food sound really easy to do.
This scale is battery operated, and I like that it has an Auto Turnoff Feature because I’m always forgetting to turn things off – especially when I have a lot going on in the kitchen.
I recently used this scale to make a recipe that listed ingredients in grams! Most of my recipes are in ounces (the scale can measure ounces, too) so grams totally throw me for a loop. Luckily, this scale accurately measures so I knew exactly how much of each ingredient to use.
The scale does not come apart for washing or storage, but it is easy to wipe clean and can be stored on its side if needed. Other useful features include a Tare Feature that allows users to Subtract the weight of any plate or container and 4 Measurement Modes: Grams / Ounces / Kilograms / Pounds.
Scale Dimensions: 10″ x 7.5″ x 1 1/3″ Weight: 1.9 lbs

The Microsoft Surface 2 computer would be amazing to own. I would love having something like that, as a mother. I don’t think my own Mom would use it though… not her generation of gadgets. 😉
