Febreze™ Carpetcare Products

June 11, 2012 by Nicole

Summer is definitely here – my carpet has the tracked in dirt and grass stains to prove it! What does your carpet look like these days? If you battle carpet stains, Febreze™ Carpetcare is here to help with a line of products that eliminates odors and freshens as you clean.

Need to spot clean? Get rid of those pesky everyday stains with ToughSPOTTM OXY Stain Remover & Pretreater:

  • Eliminates odors & freshens
  • Removes household stains on
    carpet, rugs & upholstery
  • Stains won’t reappear

Does your indoor pet clean up after itself? Mine doesn’t! Treat Pet Stains with PET Stain & Odor Remover:

  • Eliminates odors & freshens
  • Removes tough pet stains & odors like
urine, vomit, feces, blood & more
  • Stains won’t reappear

One of my most used carpet cleaning tools is my carpet shampooer. Febreze™ Deep Cleaning & Oxy Action and Advanced Pet Solution Carpetcare formulas are safe for use in any full size deep cleaning machine including: Bissell®, Hoover®, Dirt Devil®, and Rentals. They are 2x professional concentrated formulas that are Wool Safe certified. The Advanced Pet Solution is safe for use around pets. Both products are made to deodorize and freshen your carpets as you clean, plus remove stubborn stains.

I used the Advanced Pet Solution Carpetcare to shampoo a large area rug in my living room.  Although the rug did not have any noticeable stains, it was my dog’s favorite place to curl up and take a nap every day last winter. Plus, it’s in a high traffic area of our home. This rug was past due for a deep cleaning and refreshing visit from the carpet shampooer! I used the Febreze™ Advanced Pet Solution Carpetcare in a Bissell carpet cleaning machine as directed, and things worked perfectly. The fresh Febreze™ scent filled the room as I shampooed the carpet.  I thought the formula did a great job cleaning and deodorizing my area rug.

I’m not really sure you want to know this but since you asked… we adopted a standard poodle pup whose litter had been abandoned in a ice storm when they were about 6 months old. Being scared, cold and hungry, it took about a month for the people who found them to catch them all and only did finally because they were so weak. Our little girl pup had bloody diarrhea so badly from worms that she had accidents on the carpet every few minutes the first day. (You couldn’t catch her because she was still so scared of people.) It was mostly blood and the the worms were long and still squirming around in it on my almost new carpets (less than 3 years old). It smelled horrible and I thought I was going to lose my mind. Today she is happy, healthy and my constant shadow!

Mud stains. My son went out wearing his cute boots during rainy days and he came back home stepping on the carpet leaving all the mud stains. It was so dirty and so hard to clean

It was most disgusting, but since you really want to know!…I was living in the country and had roosters living next door. Someone must have killed a rooster and threw it into my yard. My dog ate it and threw it up all over my light tan carpeting. OMG! I didn’t think it would ever come clean and I was renting!!

That is REALLY disgusting! Thrown up rooster carcass…I wonder if Febreze Carpetcare could handle that! (Your comment was so good, I had to reply, haha!)
