Mom Always Finds Out received free products from Super Duper Publications. Regardless, all opinions are my own.
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to review a few educational games and other tools from Super Duper Publications. My kids took to them immediately and truly enjoyed them so much, that I was thrilled to try several new ones for the holidays. The experts at Super Duper have created a list of Top Ten Holiday Picks plus stocking stuffers to help parents and teachers choose from some of the best educational games, toys, card decks and magnetic games.
One of the things I love the most about Super Duper is how their games are designed to work on skills (like language and math). My children have so much FUN playing that they don’t realize we are learning. The kids actually beg me to play the games with them. I also love that I can usually find a way to play the same game at the same time with my children who range in skill level from preschool to 4th grade. Regular parents like me, homeschool parents and school teachers need to check out all wonderful resources on Super Duper’s website.

Super Duper Top Ten Holiday Picks
MagneTalk Telling Time Game (Grades Pre K, $21.95). Teach your children to tell time on a traditional face clock and digital clock. Plus, get a head start on reading skills and numbering skills with the bonus section, Sentence Maker.
Classifying Photo Fish Game (Grades Pre K+, $43.95) My 4-year-old cannot get enough of this game! He loves to go fishing for these magnetic foam fish. Each fish has a picture of everyday items from categories like Transportation, Foods, and Animals. You pick a pole and category, then start fishing for those items. It’s really fun for younger kids!
Go For the Dough Board Game (Grades Pre K+, $49.95). This is my top pick from the Top Picks list! I get my 4, 6, and 9-year-old and we can all play this vocabulary and word-meaning skills game together. They love it. Kids deliver imaginary pizza, make money and increase their language skills on every turn. Don’t be on the fence about this game – buy it!
MagneTalk® Magnetic Mealtime (Grades Pre K+, $21.95) My kids love magnet games, and this one is a great way to teach children how to make healthy mealtime choices. Children learn the five basic food groups and can categorize everyday foods into the food groups.
MagneTalk Yogarilla (Grades Pre K +, $21.95). This game is a great way to get kids active. Children will enjoy working on strength, balance, and motor planning as they imitate OTis doing 15 different yoga poses.
Turtle Talk® Fluency and Language Game (Grades PreK+, $54.95) Here is a friendly turtle that wants to help your students with their smooth and easy speech—and then skate with them around a turtle track collecting Turtle Tokens™.
Word Joggers® for Categories (Grades PreK-5, $64.95) Word Joggers for Categories is a fun bingo game with colorful boards and cards that target language processing skills needed for identifying, describing, and categorizing items. This is another fun game my kids enjoy and works well across a variety of ages and skill levels.
Hopping Frogs (Grades PreK+, $49.95) Kids don’t need to read to play this game that works on the development of early language and articulation skills. This hands-on, hopping good board game combines the fun of children helping their frogs “jump” from the “frog pond” (board) to their “lily pads” as they work on language development.
500 Prefixes, Suffixes, and Stems (Grades 4+, $49.95) I have read tons of great things about the different Super Fun Decks, so I had to try this one with my 4th grader. He loves being challenged and this is a great way to expand his vocabulary through a fun game full of picture cards.
Story Prediction (Grades 1-8, $32.95) This is one game we don’t have yet – and want! My kids love story games and the Story Prediction Fun Deck with Super Duper Secret Decoder has 56 cards to improve students’ ability to predict what will happen next. Students listen to or read a story and choose the answer that makes the most sense for the story ending. Older kids can even self-check their answers.
Visit Super Duper and you’ll find so many ideas that are the perfect ways to make learning fun for children of all ages. It was hard for the Super Duper team to narrow it down to just Ten Holiday Picks – so be sure to check out these bonus stocking stuffer ideas:
