Revving up our summer fun with @ToyState vehicles!

June 27, 2014 by Nicole

Hot Wheels CAT Road Rippers

Our latest shipment of fun toys for kids has arrived from Toy State! And it arrived just in the nick of time to head off those summertime complaints of “I’m bored!” Whether the kids are outdoors or inside, these vehicles are ready to light up imaginations. And when I say, “Light up,” I am mean that quite literally…

Visit Toy State for the latest games, videos and activities.

We have never had a toy car that could do THIS before! Check it out:

The HOT WHEELS Hyper Racer is a motorized action car with a really exciting color change feature. Push the button to kick the engine into “Hyper Mode” and watch as the car body lights up into a bright new color. Hyper Racers also have music and real car-like sound effects. (Ages 3+, $14.99)

ROAD RIPPERS Street Screamers are licensed vehicles with oversized low-profile wheels and hot paint jobs. Kids control the speed – the more they rev, the faster they go. It’s pretty cool that these can go in forward and reverse driving directions, plus feature lights, music and realistic engine sounds. (Ages 3+, $7.99)

As much fun as all the bells and whistles on the Hot Wheels and Road Rippers can be, my kids are just as thrilled to create their own construction site with CAT METAL MACHINES Die Cast metal collection. No lights, no sounds, no batteries required for hours and hours of imaginative play. The machine parts can really move (with help, of course!) and feature molded interiors and rubber tires. (Ages 8+, $11.99 large scale)

I ordered one of those Cat metal machines bulldozer replicas and my nephew enjoyed it. I know it’s several months ago, but I just got stumbled upon here in this page again and saw this. Thanks again Nicole.

Thank you, Randolph, for taking the time to come back and let me know. I’m so glad to hear your nephew enjoys the Cat bulldozer. My son still plays with his Cat toys all the time. He loves construction vehicles. I have noticed that the metal construction toys are really durable and last a long time. —Nicole

The Hot Wheels racer is cool. But every kids has got to have the CAT METAL MACHINES. I loved them when I was a kid and so do mine. I think they are well worth the money because they hold up great and last years.

I love that these are not just stationery toys. I know for me that my step-son loves them when they move. I like that they have lights too.
