A group of parents (including me) used to put together gift baskets to auction off for my son’s school fundraiser. It was always such a creative thing to do, plus it seems that EVERYONE loves a good gift basket! They are fun to give and receive. Gift baskets can be personalized to fit the special interests of anyone on your holiday list.

How It Works:

Once you order one of The Lakeside Collection gift baskets, you will receive everything you need to put the gift basket together in a large delivery box. My box was packaged very well, and all of the items (including glass dishes) arrived in perfect condition.

The Cooking Up Something Special Gift Basket contains: a Set of 3 Handled Bakers and Terry Kitchen Towel Sets, The Pioneer Woman Cooks cookbook, Giftable Breakfast Delights — Fruit Crisp mix, Bread Dipping Set and Gourmet 4 Compartment Seasoning Jar and  Stainless Steel Cup Measuring Spoons and Cut and Serve Spatula. *Note: You can substitute a different cookbook and/or kitchen gadgets as desired.

Gift basket assembly instructions can be found on The Lakeside Collection web page. You can use your own wrappings (like cellophane and ribbon) or buy them directly from Lakeside when you order the gift basket items. I thought it was really simple to follow the step-by-step directions to assemble The Cooking Up Something Special Gift Basket.

One reason I chose this particular gift basket is because I may decide to split it into 3 smaller gift packages. There were 3 glass baker dishes and plenty of kitchen towels to divide between them. The cookbook, mix, bread dipping set and gourmet seasonings can also be divided up, along with the kitchen gadgets. I can surprise 3 people for the price of one gift basket from The Lakeside Collection.

    Lakeside has a Set of 3 Handled Bakers that not only look very pretty but would be very useful, as well. I’d love to have them in my kitchen!

      Oh, I just realized that the Handled Bakers are included in this Cooking Up Something Special gift basket! Now I **really** hope I win–LOL!

      One other item I like from Lakeside is the set of six Holiday Loaf Pans. Cute, and they’d make great gifts, when filled with a nice homemade quick bread.

    Since we just got a new puppy, my family would love the Pet Lover Basket! I, personally, would like the Fashionista basket too!
