Happy Future Baby Care Products ~ {Review & #Giveaway}

April 10, 2012 by Nicole

Happy Future is a line of organic baby skin care products imported from France. Although this brand is new to the USA market, it has been proven safe and effective throughout Europe. One major point that many moms will be excited to learn about is that these products are the first organic baby care products to be made without nuts by-products. This can be helpful in avoiding allergy development.

I was glad to try the Happy Future baby care products because they are all-natural and chemical-free, organically grown and produced and recyclable. Taking care of baby’s needs and the planet at the same time is a win-win situation!

There are currently five products in the Happy Future line-up and a couple of them actually threw me for a loop because I had never really used an “American” equivalent for them. They are so practical, though, and really take into account the needs of baby skin through the different ages and stages of development.

Liniment: This 100% natural product has many uses.  At diaper change time, it easily glides on to gently cleanse and protect baby’s bottom with natural ingredients like beeswax to help form a protective layer against wetness.  Liniment can be applied as often as needed to soothe eczema, rashes, stings and psoriasis.  I thought it was very different than other diaper rash and eczema creams that I have used in the past because it wasn’t thick and difficult to apply.  The Liniment is what I would describe as a lotion-like consistency.

Cleansing Milk Non-Rinse: A product (99.5% natural ingredients) that lets you clean baby without water! I avoided giving my newborns a full-immersion bath until their umbilical cords fell off and think the Cleansing Milk Non-Rinse would have been a perfect way to keep my newborn fresh and clean.  When I use cloth diapers, I also use cloth wipes and think this would be an ideal cleansing solution to use to wet cloth wipes at diaper change time.

Cleansing Lotion Non-Rinse: This lotion (99.5% natural ingredients) does double duty as a gentle cleanser (without water!) on baby’s skin. It has a very light, natural fragrance so that babies can smell clean and fresh even without a “real” bath.

Delicate Cleansing Bath & Shower Gel: I love a 2-in-1 product like this bath gel (99.5% natural ingredients)  because it saves me at least one step in the bath time process.  This gentle cleanser can be used for baby’s hair and skin.  I’ve used it on all four of my children, and it leaves their skin clean and their hair feeling soft.

Moisturizing Cream:  This cream (99.4% natural ingredients) uses sunflower oil and aloe vera to moisturize and soften the face and body.  It is very quickly absorbed and can provide immediate relief to dry skin.

I know there are lots of moms who read the product ingredients labels very carefully, so for all of you interested mommies, here is the official list of what goes into the Happy Future baby care products.

alba
