Target is one of my favorite destinations for holiday shopping. I like being able to find everything I need from holiday decor to holiday gifts in one place. It saves me a lot of time from running around to a bunch of different stores. Target also has tons of great deals throughout the holiday season. Check out these shopping tips to help you save even more when you shop at Target.

Check the Target Weekly Sales ad. Every week, different items from every department go on sale. See if there’s anything on sale you need.

Use the Target Cartwheel app. Target’s Cartwheel app is gives you access to all sorts of Target deals. You can sign in using Facebook or download the app for free on your phone, and you’ll be able to browse hundreds of deals across every category. Add the coupons you want to your list and when you are finished with your holiday shopping, present your barcode via your smartphone or printed out, and you receive the discount. Target will have more than 1,000 deals throughout the holidays. Cartwheel will also offer 50 percent off a different toy every day through Dec. 24.

Tis the Season to #GiftGodiva. Get 20% off Godiva Holiday Gold Boxes at Target now through Dec. 19. A box of indulgent Godiva chocolates makes a wonderful gift idea for everyone. I picked up several Godiva gifts, including the 15 piece assorted dessert chocolates, which happens to be a Target exclusive.

Print coupons before you go to Target. You can find lots of money saving coupons right on the Target website.

Combine manufacturer coupons with store coupons. Target accepts one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon per item. Sometimes you can even get things for FREE by doing this.

Download the Target app and click on “Mobile Coupons” to sign up to receive mobile coupons. This is an ongoing service where you receive mobile coupons regularly.

Text COUPONS to 827438 (Target) to receive coupons immediately. Do this each time you go to Target so you can check the available daily deals.

Check out the Dollar Spot on the way in to Target. The Dollar Spot is a jackpot for stocking stuffers and small gifts. All items are $3 or less! You can potentially score anywhere from 30 to 70 percent off on small toys, coloring books and holiday items. 

Take advantage of Target’s Price Match Guarantee. Target’s Price Matching Policy will be extended for the holiday season beyond the typical 14-day window. If you purchase an item at Target between Nov. 1 and Dec. 24, and then find it for less at Target or Target.com, a local competitor’s printed ad or at select online retailers, Target will match that price. You’ll need to bring your receipt and proof of the lower price to Guest Services.

Shop the End Caps. The end caps are shelves at the end of the aisles. They are often a great place to find the best deals, including clearance items.

Shop After the Holidays. The day after Christmas, holiday items will be on sale for up to 50% at Target. After that, the discounts can be up to 90 percent. Keep your eye’s peeled for deals and stock up for next year’s holidays. Those prices are too good to pass up!

See How I Gift Godiva

I am prepping my Godiva Holiday Gold Boxes for gift giving. I have lots of special people on my list, including teachers, my hair stylist and my mother-in-law, who I happen to know looooooves good chocolate. Then again, don’t we all?  My children’s teachers spend every day working so hard at school.
